Vocational Support

Vocational Support means either:

  • You're interested in becoming more involved in your local community by volunteering or participating more in social/recreational/hobby activities. CCS staff can help you by informing you of what's available and supporting you to get into your chosen activity.
  • Vocational also means you're interested in the possibility of getting a job; paid employment in the regular workforce. CCS staff can support you by planning the steps to achieve that goal. Together we explore your strengths, interests and skills that might point to a work choice, we look at the barriers to you getting work and how to overcome or accommodate those, we identify people who can give you job leads, provide training, financial support, we can develop a CV or resume  and practice interview skills with you.
