About Us
Wheelchair Solutions – He Tuuru Kawe Tangata Haua –
is a partnership between two organisations, Seating To Go &
CCS Waikato / Bay of Plenty.
We have been contracted by the Ministry of Health to provide specialised
wheelchair & seating assessment services across the greater
Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Lakes area.
We are not contracted to provide this service for people who are
covered by ACC.
What We Do
There are a number of services involved in different parts of
wheelchair and seating provision.
Our role is to assess and provide solutions for those people who
have more complex wheelchair and seating needs, ie, needs that are
not well met by the use of a standard manual chair.
There are a number of eligibility criteria for the service,
which are detailed in a separate handout ‘Eligibility Criteria
for Wheelchair Solutions’.

Repairs and Maintenance
Repairs and maintenance of wheelchairs is not part of our contract
with the Ministry of Health.
