Mobility Parking Permits
What is the Mobility Parking Scheme?
The Mobility Parking Scheme is a programme of New Zealand CCS Inc,
introduced with the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport, your
local authority and the New Zealand Medical Association. Mobility
Parking is a scheme recognised by all City and District Councils
and many private companies and businesses.
Permit holders are entitled to use:
- Accessible car parks (outlined in yellow and displaying the
wheelchair symbol).
- Standard car parks and metered spaces for longer than stated
times, and
- Time restricted zones e.g. P30 for longer than stated times.
There are 3 types of cards:
- Short-term (any period up to 12 months) - $30.00
- Long-term (5 years) - $45.00
- Corporate - $100 per card (phone your local branch for more
details and an application form)

To be eligible the applicant must;

The Application Process
