Te Hohonutanga O Te Ao

We provide a holistic approach for the well-being of Maori with disabilities.

Our Aims:

  • To provide a support service for focussing on the needs of Maori with disabilities.
  • That information is provided on disability issues.
  • To ensure Maori are well informed of programmes provided by the Maori Unit.


Our Services

Whanau Support Group:

  • Regional bi-monthly meeting.
  • National Hui A Tau.
  • Provide information on workshops.


Disability Information:

  • Accessing information on disabilities and Maori service providers.


Community Support:

  • Support individuals and whanau.
  • Advocacy / Education support.
  • Home visits.


Providing To:

  • Whanau / Hapu / Iwi
